Debt Advice Supervisor Training – Raising the Standards of Debt Advice

Description of the programme

This course is CAP’s in-house training for experienced, senior debt advisors, who have already completed our Advanced Advisor Course. The objective of the course is to equip senior CAP advisors to supervise the work of CAP staff in regard to debt legal advice and casework

Delivery Channel(s)

The training is provided face-to-face. If COVID restrictions do not permit the course to run face to face then it will be delivered using google meet.

Pre Requisite Learning / Pathway / Accreditation for Prior Learning

Learners must have completed CAP’s Advanced Debt Training Course, or another equivalent debt advice course accredited casework/specialist level.

Individual Certification

Learners must provide their CAP Advanced Debt Training Course Certificate in order to attend the course. Or they can provide an equivalent qualification certificate, for example an IMA qualification.

What are the outcomes?

This course is accredited to Supervision level only. Supervision activity will involve an adviser providing technical debt advice support to other advisers within and/or outside their own organisation. Line management alone does not constitute supervision, without the provision of technical debt advice support.
